The wee-1 has learned to roll over from her tummy to back a couple days ago. She seems to only want to do it in her crib, cosleeper, or on very padded floor. Her personality is already shining through... very cautious for one. Mama's girl for another. Sweet girl also seems to have found her feet this week, is babbling up a storm today (different sounds, like gah, instead of the typical ahhhh), and blowing raspberries.
The 3-footer has been asking me alot of questions about God. Last night I was telling her I was so thankful to God that he gave Sophia to me. That's how the conversation started...
"I'm so thankful God brought you into my life Sophia."
Insert whiny voice "Well... I don't know what I'm thankful for..."
"Well, how about your mama and daddy?"
"Oh, yeah. And sister too!"
"Of course, and then there is the roof over your head, the food in your belly... so many things to be thankful for!"
"And one more...."
"What's that?"
"You know..."
"No, I have no clue..."
"Santa silly!"
"Oh... yeah, of course. Well you know, Christmas isn't just about Santa. We celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ."
"God gave him to us?"
"Yes."
"Where is God? In heaven?"
"Well, God is all around us. He is in each and every one of us. Every time you show love and kindness to someone, that piece of God inside of you is showing through."
"So, does God get bigger inside of me when I eat?"
(Obviously, I was getting to deep with this...)
"No... um... I love you sweetheart, see you in the morning, goodnight!"

Haha! So funny. And so coincidental too! Brooke has been asking a TON of questions about Heaven..."are there cars in Heaven?", "are there beds in Heaven?", "does it get dark in Heaven?", etc etc etc etc....
Guess its the age of curiousity!
