Good morning Sunshine!

I love when I happen to wake up on the rare occasion before the three footer does, and just sitting around, thinking of things I have to do, enjoying the quiet. I love even more though, hearing from the living room her wake up.

Usually, I will hear a sneeze first. Not always, but usually. Next she will walk over to the other side of her bed close to the door knob, and open her door. It's usually pretty loud, because she just kind of flings is open. If I'm sitting on the couch where I can see her or if I'm in the kitchen, I can see how she will poke her head out (still standing on the bed, mind you) to see if anyone is awake. Sometimes daddy is in the kitchen, but on days like today where he drove himself to work, the apt. is relatively quiet. It will be just a moment of quiet, she will pop her head back in her room, then I'm pretty sure she will debate for just a quick second whether to go to the kitchen, the living room, or our bedroom (again, depends if daddy is in said kitchen or if she thinks she hears me in the living room... at least this is what I am assuming is going through her little head). Then she will run out of her room and give either me or daddy a big ole hug. It is so sweet.

Now if I AND the hubs are both still sleeping (hey folks, it happens on the weekends sometimes), then I have no idea what she does after poking her head out of her room. I know she will open our door at some point, but she wont wake us up. She goes to the bathroom by herself. Eventually, I'll wake up, maybe after an hour of her being up, because I hear noise coming from her room. Either me or the hubs (usually, I kick the hubs to wake up) will go check on her and she is just playing with her dolls or reading a book. We'll ask her her, "Why didn't you wake us up??"

"Because you were sleeping."

Silly girl :P
