The wee-1 is accomplishing loads of things lately! For one, she just got over her first real sickness. High fever (103!), and just not feeling great. I think it was hand, foot, and mouth disease, not the flu. Over the weekend we saw her stand by herself. It was a split second, but she did it nevertheless! She is also eating finger foods now. Cheerios, cooked apples, cooked carrots, peas...
The 3-footer was sick too. Her fever got up to 104.2. Thankfully nurse mama was able to bring it down. She acts like a 4 year old these days. The word fart makes her laugh hysterically. Folding underwear in the laundry was a riot. She is starting to learn more sight words when reading. She is really missing her friends from our old home, but seems to be adjusting to life pretty well here.
Anyways, just a quickie, because I have homework to finish!
