Week 4 begins....

Tomorrow week 4 of nursing school begins. So far, so good. I am loving everything, and most everyone. I've made a few friends that seem to have alot in common with me. The hardest part has been leaving the girls all day. That said, they aren't starving for attention. They have daddy almost every day and nana comes to visit 2x per week.

The wee-1 is walking every where. Seriously, everywhere. It seems like just a few weeks ago she wa taking some steps and falling down. Now, walking is her only means of transportation. She figured out how to get herself back up off the ground, so this helps the whole walking thing tons. She is now calling me dada and daddy is known as mama. That or she is going around yelling nana, but we don't know if that is in relation to my mother, or her trying to say Gianna. I actually think it might be the latter of the two.

She is beginning to say more things, or at least try to. I hear "baw" for ball, didi for her aunt (Titi), ee-oh for her uncle (Tio), "dah" for dog, "cah" or "di-dee" for cat / kitty. My personal favorite... "owwwww!" used in the right context for when she gets hurt. I can't help but laugh at that one! She loves to play with her maracas, and music making toys up to her ears, which I only imagine she is pretending is a phone. She is growing really close to daddy and has on more than one occassion passed me up for him. She is becoming a real daddy's girl.

The 3-footer is feeling the brunt of me going back to school more than baby sister is. She is more aware, and unfortunantly we seem to be ignorning or forgetting things. It's most definitely not intentional, it just happens. Likes last weeks fundraising dinner I took her too. I thought it started at 7pm. Unfortunantly, it ended at 7pm, so needless to say, I had a very unhappy 4 year old.

She is all into her ballet that restarted back up, playing with Barbies, and playing make believe. She got a new scooter for Christmas that she has only had a few times to play with unfortunantly due to the cold and / or wet weather. She is a great big sister, and looks out for her. She is an awesome helper, even though I can tell she gets tired of hearing, "Sophia, can you do me a favor?". She is super observant. She always has been, but lately other people are pointing it out to me. Her teacher for one let me know that she doesn't miss a thing. This is a child that you cannot just say, "Oh, we'll do it next week." because come next week she will be asking about it again. She is really getting into reading and using her Tag reader, so I'm glad I, er... Santa didn't waste her money.

The girls together are growing in so many ways. I love seeing them play together now that the wee-1 isn't so wee anymore. I love hearing them cracking up in the mornings on the weekends. I love watching them, and seeing them happy.

Anyways, I wish I had more fun stuff to report. The wee-1 will soon become a wee-1-year-old in a few weeks! School is busy, and I miss my hubs while he is gone weeknights in school. That's what's going on in our neck of the woods!
